Privacy
What we keep, why, for how long, and how to see or erase it.
In short
the gistWe keep what it takes to run the server and moderate it, nothing more. Nothing is sold, there are no ads, and the site does not track its visitors.
Who looks after it
controllerYour data is the responsibility of Interligne, a brand of Custers Consulting S.A.R.L.-S, Rue des Romains 12, L-8284 Kehlen, Luxembourg (RCS Luxembourg B290731, VAT LU36144314).
Any question: bonjour@interligne.eu, or the Arkensia Discord.
On the website
arkensia.netNo account, no form. The site never asks for your name or your email. The only box to fill in is the username to see your skin (below).
Cookies. The site sets only two, and neither follows you anywhere else:
- the language you picked, kept for one year;
- a ten-second technical cookie that stops a page from looping.
What your browser keeps, on your side. The shop basket stays in your browser so you find it again. A small note is used for the animation between two pages, and is wiped right away. None of this is sent to us.
Your skin. In the shop, the username you type to see your skin is sent to mc-heads.net, then to minotar.net if the first one does not answer. They send back your skin image. Nothing else goes out, and we do not keep that username.
Fonts and videos. They come from our own site, not from Google or any other service.
Links. The Discord and MineStrator buttons take you to their sites, where their own rules apply. The MineStrator link is a partner link.
Where the site lives. With Vercel and Supabase, in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Like any website, the host writes your IP address in its technical logs.
In the game
the serverThe first time you join, you read the rules and this page, then tick two boxes to go in. We keep the date you accepted.
What we keep, and for how long:
- Your username and Minecraft ID (UUID), your first and last visit, your play timeWhy To know who you are and run the gameHow long Everything is wiped at the end of the beta, before launch. The next period will be written here.
- What you do in game: your money, what you buy and sell, your items, your clanWhy The game itselfHow long Same
- Your money historyWhy Proof of every tradeHow long Never deleted, even if you ask
- Sanctions (warning, mute, kick, ban)Why ModerationHow long One year after the sanction ends
- Your IP addressWhy Connection protection and moderationHow long Not in our database. It shows up in the server’s connection logs, kept for 90 days.
- The list of your mods, packs and shader, with their fingerprintsWhy To refuse cheat filesHow long Read at every login. If a cheat file is found, its name and fingerprint go to the team.
Chat. Chat is not recorded. The server only holds each player’s last lines for half an hour, in case someone reports them.
When you report someone. Your report keeps: who reports, who is reported, the reason, what you wrote, the place, and the reported player’s last chat lines.
- The chat lines are deleted 30 days after the report.
- If you leave the box ticked, a screenshot of your screen is attached. It is deleted 30 days after the team has decided, and never goes to Discord.
- The report itself (reason, place, decision) is deleted one year after the sanction it led to has ended.
- The team also gets a message in its private Discord channel: your username, the reported player’s, the reason, the server and what you wrote. Never coordinates.
Anti-cheat. The server uses Grim, which checks your movements to spot cheating.
Voice chat. Proximity voice (Simple Voice Chat) is live only, up to 48 blocks. We do not record it.
On Discord. Event announcements go to the Arkensia Discord with the top of the leaderboard: your username can show up there if you win.
Coming later: the build contest. To rate builds on the site, you will link your Discord account to your game account. The site will show your Minecraft username, your photos and your rank, never your Discord name. This page will be updated before the first contest opens.
Coming later: payments. They will go through Tebex, which takes the payment for us and sends you the receipt. We never see your card. This part will be completed before the shop opens.
Who sees your data
access- Moderators, who only see what they need to sanction: reports, the chat attached to them, and sanctions.
- Adrien, who runs the server and sees everything.
- MineStrator, which hosts the game server and its database in France. The database is backed up every day, and each backup is kept for 30 days.
- Vercel and Supabase, for the website (see above).
Nothing is sold, nothing is handed to advertisers.
Your rights
yoursYou can:
- see what we keep about you, and get a copy;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it deleted where possible (the money history, the team log and an open report are not deleted);
- object to a use of your data.
